Our fees:
£170 to £300 + VAT @ 20% per fee earner depending on experience and qualifications.
Conveyancing
- Conveyancing From £1000 + VAT depending on value of the property, complexity of transaction, whether freehold or leasehold. A more complete table can be found on the property page.
- Disbursements you may have to pay; £17 to £300 for indemnity policies,
the price for this depends on what needs to be indemnified. - Searches from £310 + VAT
- Stamp Duty Land Tax depends on the value of the property, if you are a first time buyer or second property etc.
Land registry fees depend on the value of the property and the type of transaction.
Private client
- Grant of probate from £1500 + VAT
- IHT 205 from £1900 + VAT
- IHT 400 with no IHT from £2500 + VAT
- IHT 400 with IHT from £xxxx + VAT
- Wills from £275 + VAT
- LPA’s from £400 + VAT
- Deputyship is usually at court fixed costs.
- Tax returns and Tax advice costs are based on the fee earners time.
All other advice is charged by time spent.

- Court of Protection fees are all variable
- LPA registration fees per part depend on income but can be up to £82 per part
- ID checks are variable in cost
