Private Client Fee Earner Solicitor/CILEx

Heppenstalls Solicitors are a well-established firm offering client services to a mainly local clientele within the New Forest, Hampshire.  We are currently recruiting a Private Client Fee Earner to join our teams.

  • A current working knowledge of Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Estate Administration, Elderly Client, Inheritance Tax and Will preparation would be preferred.
  • TEP qualified or an interest in working towards this level.
  • You should be able to manage your own caseload in busy practice within a supportive team.
  • Be prepared to travel between offices from time to time and carry out home appointments.
  • Motivated individual with lateral thinking and sound judgment skills together with good inter-personal and practice development skills.
  • Ability to use their own initiative and undertake the requirements of the role.
  • Be successful with client conversion.
  • Knowledge to STEP accounts and Bighand would be beneficial.
  • You will be pragmatic, enthusiastic and able to work within a team.
  • Heppenstalls invest in training and would support study towards further study and development

General Office Administrator

Heppenstalls Solicitors are looking to appoint a full time General Office Administrator for our Lymington Office. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in our busy office.

The focus of the role is on excellent levels of client care whilst carrying out a busy and varied administrative role. Key activities will include archiving/retrieving files, dealing with suppliers, banking and cheque printing, audio typing as needed, filing documents, processing incoming and outgoing post, covering reception and assisting with telephone calls. You will also provide cover for the reception area during lunch breaks and holidays with occasional cover in our New Milton office.

The successful candidate will have administrative experience, an excellent telephone manner and a solid knowledge of Word and Excel, together with good client care skills. The role might suit someone looking to start their career in a local law firm.
