Our New Milton office is the firm's base for all Family law matters and has been awarded a Community Funding Franchise (formerly called Legal Aid) for Family Matters. This means that it has been approved by the Legal Services Commission to provide Government subsidised legal advice and representation in court proceedings relating to family matters especially divorce and issues relating to children for those who could not otherwise afford legal representation. This facility is means tested and subject to eligibility.
Partner - New Milton
Sheila Pullan
Sheila Pullan is a Partner and head of the Family Law Department at the New Milton Office. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1985 and joined Heppenstalls in 1990. She now specialises in child care cases and matrimonial matters. She is a member of the Children’s Panel and the Dorset and Hampshire local Child Care Support Groups. She is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, (Solicitors Family Law Association) the Family Law Panel of the Law Society (advanced qualification)..
Sheila is able to advise on matrimonial matters and cases involving children whether in "private" or "public law" cases.

Christian Bennett
Christian Bennett is a qualified solicitor having completed his training contract with Heppenstalls in 2003. He is currently based in the New Milton Office where he specialises in Family and Matrimonial matters.

Ann Herd
Ann Herd is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with Heppenstalls based in the New Milton Office. She qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in September 2002 having joined Heppenstalls in 1997. She specialises mainly in Family work, such as matrimonial and “cohabitee” matters together with Private law children matters. She also deals with some civil litigation. She is a member of Resolution (formerley the Solicitors Family Law Association).

Jill Jackson
Jill Jackson is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with Heppenstalls based in our New Milton Office. She qualified as a fellow in June 2004 having been with Heppenstalls since 1987. She assists Sheila Pullan with her child care, family and matrimonial matters. She is particularly involved with arranging public funding.
